HAND-PAINTED ORNAMENTS: New this year: Twelve Days of Christmas! (under the Christmas category)

Hand Painted Ornaments
Heart ornaments

These hand-painted ornaments are NOT FRAGILE, and are incredibly lightweight! We chose this material because of its durability, and even the large pieces won’t bend down the branches of a Christmas tree.

Our hand-painted ornaments are made by hand, one at a time, in our workshop in Lancaster, PA. Each piece is cast from a cookie mold in our collection: these replicas were made from molds that go back hundreds of years. Two of our favorites in our collection are “The Minnesinger” and the round “Flight to Egypt” – be sure to look for them, as these two designs date back to the 16th century! We cast these ornaments in a mix of paper pulp and ash, bake them, stain them, rebake, paint, seal, drill, and ribbon them. This lengthy process enables us to highlight  the beauty and history of each piece. These one-of-a-kind folk art pieces are captivating on a Christmas tree, mounted in shadow boxes, used as gift tie-ons, hanging from door knobs, and hung on mantelpieces or between windows in your home. They are for indoor use only, but can be left up year-round if you desire. Look for more info on our talented artist on the “About Us” page!
